Richard Nunn

Richard is the Certified Instructor at the Plymouth branch of DWS.

Richard studied Sports Science under Dr. Mike Tripp at MarJon University (one of the foremost historians of Cornish Wrestling), where he caught the obsession about Westcountry Wrestling directly from Mike. Today, Richard runs the Devon Celtic Combat.

Richard works to spread community and education programmes across the South West. He’s taught twice at the South West Martial Arts Show as a featured instructor, co-lead the Celtic Connection seminar, and taught dedicated Devon Wrestling courses across the Westcountry. Richard expands the curriculum with Irish stick-fighting, exploring non-jacket and self-defence applications.
