‘Wraxling’, or ‘Wraaslin’ is a traditional martial art from the heart of England’s beautiful countryside: the Westcountry. For over 600 years, wrestling was practiced in the rural communities of Devon and Cornwall. In Cornwall, this tradition continues to this day.

From background, theory, terminology (in Cornish language, local Cornish and Devon dialects, English and Breton), rules, to techniques, artefacts, and events – everything you need to practice traditional Westcountry Martial Arts yourself, anywhere, with anyone.
The Devonshire Wrestling Society is a local martial arts project from the South West of England, teaching a curriculum of traditional and canonical skills in Wrestling, Boxing, Short Stick, Long Staff and Two-hand Sword.
