GREAT WRESTLING MATCH, AT HYDE PARK CRICKET GROUND. ON MONDAY next and Two following Days, a GREAT WRESTLING MATCH will take place between the Men of Yorkshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Cumberland, and the surrounding Counties, and a number of picked Wrestlers from London, Devonshire, Cornwall, and Ireland. On commencing, the Men are first to place One Hand to Collar, after which they may shift their Holds as they please, confining themselves to the Jacket, fair Back falls. To the best Man, £30; to the Second £20; to the Third, £15; to the Fourth, £10; to the Fifth, £7; and to the Sixth, £5. All the other Double Players to receive £1 each, besides Travelling Expenses. This Match is intended to be a trial of the skill, strength, and dexterity, of the Men of the North against the Men of all other parts of the United Kingdom.
