CORNISH WRESTLERS EXHIBIT WARES IN LONDON THEATER

London, Nov. – Cornish wrestling champions have invaded London music halls for the first time with exhibitions of their sport.

The Cornwall County Wrestling essociation authorized eight of its best wrestlers to appear in the exhibitions which are a novelty to London audiences.

The wrestlers wear only trunks wyand a heavy canvas jacket. The wrestling is done standing, and the contestants move with great speed about the stage.

The jacket affords the only hand-hold. It ta fastened loosely in front with two pieces of heavy cord and can be manipulated with great skill by the wearer.

Three judges, dressed in white duck aprons like butchers, watch the contest from various angles. A wrestler is judged down when landed with both shoulders on the floor.
