Exeter Flying Post, Exeter Grand Wrestling advertisement (1816)

Exeter Grand Wrestling. TO BE WRESTLED FOR, IN A FIELD, AT HILL’S-COURT, IN THE PARISH OF ST. SIDWELL’S. ON MONDAY and TUESDAY, the 8th and 9th Days of JULY, 1816, A Purse of at least Fifteen Guineas. Play to begin at ten o’clock in the forenoon. In order to encourage an early attendance, the first double-player will receive Five Shillings extra. The Triers will be chosen from different Parishes, and every fair play shewn. Exeter, 14th June, 1816.
