CREDITON WRESTLING, 1811. THE Annual Prize of TWENTY GUINEAS will be WRESTLED FOR this year on the WEDNESDAY and THURSDAY in WHITSUN-WEEK: Ten Guineas of which will be played for and distributed on the Wednesday; and the remaining Ten Guineas on the Thursday.— Five Guineas of which, on each day, will be given to the best Man; and the rest divided among the other players, getting shares; and such other players as distinguish themselves, in such proportions as the committee for managing the same may direct. And no man playing the first day will be excluded from playing the second. The Play to begin on each day precisely at eight o’clock in the morning, and as an encouragement to players to attend early, the man getting the first share, will be entitled to Half-a-Guinea extraordinary. An Ordinary each day, as usual, will be provided. Dated 14th May, 1811.
