WRESTLING for a PURSE of GUINEAS,
First Man ……………. £7 7s. 0d.
Second ……………… £2 2s. 0d.
Every other Stander, each …….. 7s. 0d.
CUDGEL-PLAYING for a SILVER CUP, Value at least £1 0s. 0d.
A JINGLING MATCH, By Thirteen smart dashing Lads, for a HAT, worth a Guinea. Also, GRINNING, BOBBING, and DIVING, with other innocent amusements, producing fun and merriment. The sports will begin each day precisely at one o’clock in the afternoon; and the Standers will play out the Cudgelling and Wrestling, the second day. Dated Plympton, June 24, 1807.
