GAMES, PASTIMES, and DIVERSIONS, ON THE ANTIENT CASTLE OF PLYMPTON, DEVON.

ON Tuesday the 15th of July, 1806, and the following day, (viz.)

WRESTLING FOR A PURSE OF GUINEAS,
FIRST MAN ………….. £5 5s. 0d.
SECOND ……………. £1 1s. 0d.
Every other STANDER, each 5s. 0d.

CUDGEL-PLAYING FOR A SILVER CUP, VALUE AT LEAST £2 2s. 0d.
SECOND ……………. 10s. 6d.

A JINGLING MATCH, by thirteen smart dashing Lads, for a HAT, worth a GUINEA. A FOOT RACE FOR A HOLLAND SMOCK, Highly ornamented with pink and blue ribands, by SPRIGHTLY YOUNG LASSES. Also, GRINNING, BOBBING, and DIVING, With other innocent amusements, producing fun and merriment. The sports will begin each day precisely at one o’clock in the afternoon; and the standers will play out the cudgeling and wrestling, the second day. Dated Plympton, June 30, 1806.
