Richard Cawley

Richard Cawley is a Cornish wrestler, former Cornish Wrestling Heavyweight Champion, coach, and member of the leadership team of the Cornish Wrestling Association. A respected competitor and ambassador for the sport, he has spent many years promoting and developing Cornwall’s indigenous wrestling tradition.

As advisor to the Devonshire Wrestling Society, Richard supports technical and organisational exchange, and joint public engagement. He also serves as an important link between the leadership of the CWA and DWS, helping strengthen cooperation between Cornwall and Devon in preserving Westcountry Wrestling heritage.
